Double Meadow Stable
This 12-stall horse barn is 6,100 square feet of equestrian beauty. A dignified exterior, crowned by three cupolas and numerous dormers is only outdone by the naturally bright and airy interior.
B&D Builders joined this project after initial design and provided our expertise as updates were made. The space has since become the inspiration and source for many B&D relationships and projects.
Off-white siding and light stone on the exterior provide a brightness, calling the eye to exquisite trim details that set this barn apart. The double-lock standing seem roof was incorporated to match the aesthetic of the house on the property.
Inside, 1 inch by 6 inch white pine tongue and groove panels bring a natural brightness to the space, pairing perfectly with the open interior to give the stables a vivid and airy feeling. Wide picture frame windows and Dutch doors bring further light and fresh air to the space, providing improved safety and quality of life for horses.
