This sprawling estate features a recreational barn with high-quality equestrian facilities on the first floor and a personal event space upstairs, where the owner hosts charity events and gatherings.
B&D Builders was brought in to support the recreational barn and pool house portion of the estate and partnered closely with the architect and general contractor to bring these structures to life. The owner wanted a barn that felt like it had existed on the property for generations, and B&D delivered on that timeless appeal.
The perfection of this recreational barn truly comes alive in the details. The client sourced reclaimed glass to be used in custom-built sliding doors at the entrance to the kitchen. Reclaimed wood and hand-forged iron wrap the bar area create a cozy, timeless gathering area.
The second floor is built for entertaining and time well spent together, with a massive chandelier anchoring the common space, a stone fireplace seamlessly constructed over the horse stalls below, and many intentional spaces for meaningful conversation.
