French Farmhouse Retreat
This residence renovation drew deep inspiration from the rustic and refined aesthetics of French farmhouses. Each space is thoughtfully designed and built with expert craftsmanship that feels impressive but functional – a space that can be fully lived in and appreciated at every turn.
B&D Builders worked with the homeowners to maintain the original footprint to streamline the permitting process. Each design choice was meticulously made alongside the owners, allowing our team to serve as both a sounding board and experienced partner. But most critical was the project timeline. Everything needed to be completed by Christmas so that the family could host in their amazing new space – and B&D delivered.
The new roof and shingle facade feature unique architectural elements, with bump outs and roof pitch changes that draw the eye and add a distinct visual flair.
The French farmhouse atmosphere can be felt across the home with reclaimed wood and white oak throughout, particularly in the main living area, open-raftered kitchen, and luxurious sitting room. Large bedrooms with his and hers closets and dressing rooms accompany a primary bath with twin walk-in showers. Downstairs, a spa room with Himalayan salt walls and sauna provide unmatched relaxation and luxury – a true sanctuary.
