Somerset Stable

Lambertville, NJ

This perfectly proportioned hobby farm stable marries functionality with the utmost roadside appeal. Wooden siding atop a stone foundation creates a classic look while the outdoor barn sconces illuminate the exterior in the evenings.

B&D Builders understood the client’s need for a multi-purpose space that maximized functionality without sacrificing one bit of striking visual beauty.

The barn is the focal point when entering the property, with a matching mailbox, long driveway, and line of trees offering a sense of grandeur. The front gate, made of matching sapele mahogany, extends a visual consistency from the farm entrance to the barn itself.

The barn features a traditional timber frame structure with a loft and a vented cupola. Sliding barn doors on either end create healthy air flow through the barn, along with custom stalls made of white pine and iron.
